Title: Ghost of Nakagin Capsule Tower

Description: I took this photo in 2019 of the Nakagin Capsule Tower that was later demolished in 2022. The entire building was already covered with a net since the capsules were almost all abandoned and deteriorated. Now the building is only a ghost of the architects efforts.
Judges comment "In its pomp this futuristic building was a mixed-use residential and office block. Although each capsule was small you could connect them with each other to create a bigger space. Its hard not to look at this photo and see, what looks, like broken washing machines.”
