Humayun’s Tomb, Delhi, India. I waited here for one and half hours to take this shot. What I wanted for the composition was a person, it was a winter’s morning and nobody was around. Suddenly I see an old lady and when she sat down at the edge of water I captured this photo.

This splendid mausoleum was built in the memory of Emperor Humayun, the second Mughal ruler to ascend the throne, it stands as a magnificent testament to the style of Mughal royal mausoleums. It is the first of the grand dynastic garden-tombs. It was completed in 1572 AD under the patronage of the Mughal Emperor Akbar, the third Mughal ruler and Humayun’s son. Located in Nizamuddin, East Dehli, Humayun’s tomb or Makbara-e -Humayun is one of the best preserved Mughal monuments and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1993.

The Bizkaia Bridge, also known as the Hanging Bridge, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006, it was built by Ferdinand Arnodin, a direct disciple of Eiffel, in 1893. Located in the final section of the Bilbao Route, right in the place where the sea meets the Nervión, this spectacular iron structure joins the neighbourhood of Las Arenas and Portugalete.
